No significant difference was found between the arm circumference adjusted for height of children of villages included in the Comprehensive Rural Health Project, Jamkhed, India and children of neighbouring villages not in the project. There was a significant difference in the slope of the arm circumference/height relationship between girls and boys. No caste differences were found.
