An integrated program of child health care and family planning is described in Cap Bon, Tunisia. The experience shows that child health care is a good base for setting up family planning activities. A high rate of acceptance and a much better continuity rate are obtained, as well as a lower average age of starting contraception. The scheme put forward can be reproduced throughout the country because it is conceived in view of the local health facilities.
