Practical Techniques for Front Line Health Workers for the Detection, Treatment and Prevention of Nutritional Disorders*

Several practical models of delivery systems through which nutritional activities could be provided as an integrated package by front-line health workers for the detection, treatment and prevention of nutritional disorders are discussed. The application of such models to different geographic, sociocultural and economic groups of the population may prove to be extremely valuable in assessing nutritional status of a population.
